Volunteer Training for Music & Memory Announced

chelsea music memory project logoVolunteers are need for the Chelsea Music & Memory Project! And free training is provided. 

Silver Maples is partnering with the Chelsea District Library, Chelsea Senior Center, Ascent Audiology, and the Chelsea Retirement Community to bring this wonderful program to Chelsea area residents with dementia and other debilitating diseases.

The idea is simple, but the difference that MUSIC & MEMORY is making in the quality of life of seriously ill people and their families, is nothing short of remarkable. Training Info:

There will be 3 training dates, one at each credentialed facility. You do not need to attend all 3 as they will be the same except for specifics to the facility. If you are interested in working at a specific place we suggest you take the training there. If the date does not work please then pick the date that would work best for you.

Monday – May 11 – Chelsea Senior Center at 4:00 PM in Room 114

Wednesday – May 13 – Silver Maples at 4:00 PM in the Great Room (2nd circle drive and head up the stairs)

Monday – May 18 – Chelsea Retirement Community at 7:00 PM enter at the Towsley Center, there will be signs.
